Host Home Support

Host Home Support (HHS) provides a home-like setting that offers support, supervision, training and assistance for adults in a certified residential setting or other certified private home. HHS may not be provided in a Nursing Facility (NF), or an Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/ID). HHS services include daily supports to maintain individual health and safety, and assistance with activities. Services give individuals with disabilities an alternative to institutional or community living settings. Services rendered under the HHS service code afford adults an opportunity to enhance their ability to live as independently as possible and fully participate in a community setting of their choosing, and to avoid isolation in their homes and communities.
